PYS Rec Soccer Program 

• Ages 4-11
• Practices are one day a week, for one hour usually sometime between 5pm-7pm.
• Ages 4-7 will practice at Duncan Park/Colorado's Finest High School.
• Ages 8-11 will practice at Colorado's Finest High School.
• All soccer games on Saturdays at Colorado’s Finest High School between approximately 9am-1pm.
• Cost for soccer is $85 and includes a shirt and medal. Early registration before August 14th is $75.
• If you would like to coach, please reach out to me to get certified before the season starts
• Ages 4-7 will use a size 3 ball. Ages 8-11 will use a size 4 ball.
• All participants must have a ball, shin guards and cleats for practices and games.

PYS Cheerleading Season 2026

Get ready for an exciting 2026 cheer season! We welcome cheerleaders ages 4–15 to join the fun, build skills, and cheer for their favorite sports.

Practice Schedule:
Practices will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays (subject to change).
A detailed schedule will be emailed after registration.

Registration Fees:

• $70.00 standard registration
• $60.00 early registration (if completed before May 12, 2026)

Fees include a practice shirt, bows, and cheer bag.

PYS Flag Football 2026 - Fall 2026

PYS Recreational Flag Football League (Ages 6–14)

Join us for a fun and recreational flag football league designed for boys and girls ages 6–14! Players of all skill levels are welcome, whether they're trying football for the first time or looking to continue developing their game. Our focus is on learning the fundamentals, building confidence, developing teamwork and sportsmanship, staying active, and most importantly—having fun in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.

Each team will have one practice per week, held on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening, depending on the team's schedule. Games will be played on Sunday mornings, giving families a consistent weekend schedule.

All practices and games will be held at Jason Park.

Come make new friends, improve your skills, and enjoy a great season of flag football!

Competitive Basketball - Winter 2026

Competitive Basketball Program

Our Competitive Basketball program is designed for athletes who are ready to take their skills, teamwork, and basketball knowledge to the next level. The program provides a challenging and positive environment focused on player development, competitive play, and preparation for higher levels of basketball.

Players will receive structured practices emphasizing fundamental skills, team concepts, game strategy, conditioning, and basketball IQ. Teams will compete against quality opponents in league play with through either JPS or Gold Crown, tournaments, and/or scheduled competitive games throughout the season.

Competitive basketball requires a commitment from both athletes and families. Players are expected to attend practices and games consistently, arrive on time and prepared, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to a team-first environment.

Roster placement, playing time, team assignments, and game participation may be determined by coaching staff based on skill level, effort, attendance, position needs, team chemistry, and other program considerations.

We look forward to providing athletes with a challenging, competitive, and rewarding basketball experience while helping each player reach their potential both on and off the court.

Recreational 3 V 3 Basketball - Winter 2026

Pirate Youth Sports Recreational Basketball is a co-ed youth basketball program focused on introducing and developing the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.

The 2026 program is open to boys and girls in grades K–6, with teams organized by grade level. Players will develop skills in shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, teamwork, and sportsmanship through weekly practices and 3v3 games.

Practices will take place at various Englewood Elementary School gym locations one day per week (Tuesdays or Wednesdays) with Games taking place on Thursday evenings.

Our goal is to provide players of all skill levels an opportunity to learn the game, stay active, build confidence, and have fun with their teammates. No prior basketball experience is required.

Our recreational program relies heavily on parent volunteers to make each season successful. We need parents willing to step up as coaches, assistant coaches, site managers, and other volunteers throughout the season. No coaching experience is required, and PYS will provide support and guidance along the way.

We truly could not provide this program without the time and commitment of our parent volunteers. Come help us create a great experience for our kids and the Pirate Youth Sports community!

PYS 2026 Wrestling - Winter 2026

PYS Wrestling 2026

Ready to build strength, confidence, and grit? Join PYS Wrestling for an exciting season of learning, competing, and growing both on and off the mat!

Our wrestlers develop fundamental wrestling skills in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment while improving balance, coordination, agility, strength, and overall body awareness. Wrestling is more than a sport. It teaches discipline, personal responsibility, self-confidence, and accountability that athletes can carry into everyday life.

PYS Wrestling welcomes boys and girls ages 4-14, from beginners to experienced wrestlers. Practices are held in the Englewood High School Wrestling Room, where athletes will train alongside teammates, challenge themselves, and have fun building lifelong skills and friendships.

The cost of enrollment for this program is $60 for novice wrestlers and the purchase of a USA Card for advanced wrestlers $100 is required.

Tournament opportunities will be announced once the season schedule is released.
